It is possible that in order to carry out some proceedures on behalf of your company, such as: opening a bank account, registering in payment portals or entering into contracts with other companies, you need certified (notarized) and apostilled documents of your company. 

The most common ones, are: 

1. Company Registration Certificate (Certificate of Incorporation).

This docuement is issued by the Estonian Commercial Chamber or Registry and certified and apostilled by a public notary, which guarantees entry into the public registry and proves that your company is properly incorporated. This document will show: the company name and registration code (tax id number), share capital and status, legal headquartes (address) and place of management, contact details, board members, shareholders and beeficiaries.

In some countries, this document may be referred to as: Entry in the Registry, Certificate of Incorporation / Good Reputation, Company Statement of Certificate from the Chamber of Commerce.

2. Articles of Association or Incorporation (Company Statutes).

It is an extract from the statues or articles of association of your company, which describe the rules and association structure, details of the shareholders and relevant tax and legal data.

It is important to note that thanks to the legal assistance treaties in force between Estonia and: Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Italy, France, Belgium, Denmark and Ireland; documents from those countries do not require an apostille.

  • Shipping by Estonian post service is included within the EU countries. If you want us to send the documents by courrier (DHL, FEDEX, etc) extra charges will apply.
